Milestone for Flybondi: first handling service for another airline’s international flight
Flybondi has officially begun offering ground handling services to other airlines, following its certification to do so in 2024. The airline carried out its first such operation at Vicecomodoro Ángel de la Paz Aragonés Airport (SDE) in Santiago del Estero.
The ground assistance was provided to a charter flight from an Ecuadorian airline arriving from Quito, Ecuador. The flight was transporting the delegation of Liga de Quito, a football club traveling to Argentina for a Copa Libertadores match.
The aircraft was a Boeing 737-500 (registration HC-CTF) operated by Aeroregional, which landed in Santiago del Estero at 10:47 PM on Thursday, April 3.
During the stopover, Flybondi handled all ramp operations required for the aircraft. These services included general ground assistance, pushback maneuvers, aircraft marshalling, coordination of activities around the aircraft, passenger stair services, and baggage handling.

By offering third-party handling services, Flybondi is expanding its operations across Argentine airports. This move complements the self-handling services the airline already provides for its own flights at 80% of the airports where it operates regularly.
