Norse Atlantic has signed a wet lease agreement with Indian airline IndiGo, allowing the latter to continue its expansion into the long-haul flight market.
This agreement stems from the Letter of Intent (LOI) announced by Norse on November 29, 2024, which outlined the lease of six aircraft to a prestigious international airline. The newly signed contract with IndiGo initially covers one aircraft, which will begin operating in March 2025 on long-haul routes from India.
The agreement has an initial duration of six months, with the possibility of extension up to 18 months, subject to regulatory approvals. Both parties have expressed interest in exploring further opportunities to extend their collaboration.
