Portugal hosts Beja Air Show 2025 and NATO Tiger Meet: A spectacular aerial showcase
The Beja Air Show 2025, held alongside the NATO Tiger Meet 2025, will integrate international military exercises and a diverse range of aircraft. This joint event promises to elevate the standard of aerial displays and attract global attention
The Beja Air Show 2025 (BAS25) will take place over the weekend of September 27-28 in Portugal, coinciding with the NATO Tiger Meet 2025 (NTM25).
This year, the event shifts its usual June date to align with the NATO Tiger Meet, enhancing its profile and integrating a wide variety of aircraft and international military displays.
The Beja Air Show 2025 will be held simultaneously with the 61st NATO Tiger Meet, scheduled from September 21 to October 3, and organized by the 301 "Jaguares" Squadron, based in Monte Real.
The combination of both events will allow seamless inclusion of aircraft participating in the NATO exercises, whether through flypasts, dynamic flight displays, or static exhibitions, significantly enhancing the overall experience for attendees.
According to European Air Show, the previous edition, held in June, featured simultaneous military exercises such as Real Thaw and Hot Blade, which drew notable interest from attendees and encouraged greater international participation.
Last year’s edition showcased a wide range of aircraft, including the Embraer C-390 Millennium and the Airbus C295, both operated by the Portuguese Air Force. The C-390 served as a jump platform for the Black Falcons parachute team, while the C295 demonstrated its capabilities with a distinctive AN/APN-241 weather radar.
The BAS25 aims to build on the successes and lessons of the previous edition, promising an even more impressive display of aerial prowess and international cooperation as part of the NATO Tiger Meet.
