Qantas resumes its nonstop flights between Sydney and the new Chitose Airport in Sapporo, providing the only direct link between the two cities and meeting the growing demand for travel to Japan.
With the addition of Sapporo, the airline's network of destinations reaches a total of 100, with these flights operating on a seasonal basis. Services will run three times a week—Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays—from December 15, 2025, to March 26, 2026.

Business Class offers 27 seats, each featuring direct aisle access and fully flat beds in a 1-2-1 layout, while Economy Class includes 229 seats designed for comfort during long-haul flights. During the northern ski season, Qantas will offer over 20,000 seats on this route, catering to demand for Japan’s world-class winter destinations.
