On October 2 Qatar Airways increased its Doha (DOH)-Berlin (BER) route from 7 to 11 flights per week, a 44% increase in seat capacity on this service. The Qatari airline is the only Gulf carrier to offer a non-stop connection to the German capital.
The new service was flight QR 79, operated in Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner registered with the registration A7-BCS, the aircraft took off from Hamad International Airport (DOH) at 03:12 local time and landed at Brandenburg Airport (BER) at 07:57.
