SATENA Expands Regional Coverage with New Medellín–Ocaña and Cúcuta–Ocaña Routes
With B-1900 Aircraft and Flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, the Airline Aims to Improve Connectivity and Promote Economic Development in Key Areas.
SATENA is expanding its regional network with the launch of two new routes: Medellín–Ocaña and Cúcuta–Ocaña. Starting March 21, these routes will operate three times per week, improving connectivity in northeastern Colombia.
Major General Óscar Zuluaga Castaño, President of SATENA, emphasized that this expansion aims to strengthen air connectivity in strategic regions. "These routes will facilitate access to different territories, optimize travel times, and promote trade and regional integration," he stated.

The flights will be operated using Beechcraft B1900 aircraft, with a capacity of 19 passengers, and will run on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays according to the following schedule:
- Medellín – Ocaña: 07:30 a.m.
- Ocaña – Cúcuta: 09:00 a.m.
- Cúcuta – Ocaña: 10:00 a.m.
- Ocaña – Medellín: 11:00 a.m.
This initiative aims to enhance access to development, investment, and tourism opportunities while boosting the local economy.
