SKY Airline and TAP Air Portugal Sign Interline Agreement to Enhance Connectivity Between Europe and South America
SKY Airline has signed an interline agreement with TAP Air Portugal, enabling passengers to travel seamlessly between Europe and the capitals of Chile and Peru via multiple cities in Brazil.
According to the airline, the partnership allows TAP passengers to fly from Europe to Santiago de Chile and Lima with connections through Brazilian airports such as São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Florianópolis, Porto Alegre, and Belo Horizonte. Similarly, travelers from Chile and Peru can use SKY’s Brazilian routes to continue their journey to European destinations with TAP.
Simplified Travel with a Single Ticket
Under this agreement, passengers can complete their entire journey with a single ticket and one check-in process through to their final destination.
"This alliance opens a world of opportunities for travelers looking to explore Chile and Peru via Brazil, as well as for Chileans and Peruvians wishing to visit Europe with a seamless and comfortable travel experience," said Julio Solar, SKY’s Manager of Strategy, Network, and Alliances.
Routes and Booking Availability
Integrated ticket sales are now available on TAP’s website, allowing European travelers to access the networks of both airlines. Key SKY routes included in the agreement are:
- Flights to Santiago from São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Florianópolis, Salvador de Bahía, Porto Alegre, and Belo Horizonte (the latter operating seasonally from late June).
- Daily connections from São Paulo to Lima.

Part of SKY Airline’s Larger Expansion Strategy
This marks SKY Airline’s first interline agreement of the year and is part of a broader strategy to expand its regional and international connectivity. The airline has also secured similar partnerships with Air France, KLM, Air Europa, and Aerolíneas Argentinas, reinforcing tourism and travel between Europe and Latin America.
