SWISS is expanding its intercontinental network with a new non-stop service between Zurich and Seoul-Incheon, the first time the airline will fly to South Korea. SWISS is the second airline of the Lufthansa Group to operate in the Korean capital, complementing operations in Frankfurt and Munich.
According to data obtained through Air Portal in 2023 between Zurich and Seoul, 48,913 passengers and 5,267 tons of cargo were handled in 280 operations, SWISS will compete in this segment with Korean Air. South Korea is Switzerland’s fourth largest Asian partner.
This service will be complemented by the new Washington-Dulles and Toronto-Pearson destinations starting in the 2024 summer season. The South and East Asian routes operated by SWISS are Tokyo-Narita, Shanghai-Pudong, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore, Delhi, and Mumbai.

Flight schedule between Zurich and Seoul-Incheon
Starts May 7, 2024.
- Zurich – Seoul Flight LX 122 ZRH 13:40 – ICN 13:40+1 Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.
- Seoul – Zurich Flight LX 123 ICN 09:56 – ZRH 16:50 Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
The flights will be operated on Airbus A340-300 with 215 seats in four classes (8 First Class/42 Business Class/21 Premium Economy/144 Economy).
