Air New Zealand and Singapore Airlines are celebrating ten years of partnership, providing New Zealand with connectivity to the world and offering more travel options to customers. Since the alliance began in 2015, both airlines have transported more than 5.5 million travelers between New Zealand, Singapore, and other destinations.
Currently, the alliance offers seamless connections to 55 destinations worldwide, including key cities in Southeast Asia, India, Europe, and the United Kingdom.
The most popular destinations for New Zealand travelers through the alliance are the United Kingdom, India, and Thailand, while visitors from India, the United Kingdom, and Germany are among the most popular countries traveling to New Zealand.
Together, the two airlines offer up to 38 flights between New Zealand and Singapore, with flights between Auckland and Changi Airport reaching up to four daily services: one from Air New Zealand with a Boeing 777 and three from Singapore Airlines with Airbus A350 and Boeing 777. Meanwhile, between Singapore and Christchurch, Singapore Airlines operates ten weekly flights with an Airbus A350 during the Southern Hemisphere summer.
