Wingo Projects 3.6 Million Passengers in 2025, Expands Domestic Network
With an expansion strategy in the Colombian market, Wingo will increase flight frequencies and add new routes, including the Bucaramanga–Santa Marta connection.
Wingo aims to transport approximately 3.6 million passengers in 2025, marking a 10% increase compared to the previous year. In terms of capacity, the airline expects to offer over 4 million seats, aligning with the projected growth in passenger traffic.
As part of its expansion strategy, Wingo will strengthen its presence in the Colombian domestic market by increasing flight frequencies. The airline anticipates that over 60% of its total capacity will be allocated to domestic routes.
This operational expansion is expected to drive Wingo’s strongest performance since its founding.
"We closed the first month of 2025 with positive results, boosted by the end of the peak vacation season. Colombian travelers continue to trust our commitment to safety, punctuality, and affordable fares. This year, we will expand our route network to achieve double-digit growth in seat capacity and passenger traffic," said Eduardo Lombana, CEO of Wingo.
