During the Easter period, from April 11 to April 20, the airline Wingo plans to operate 550 flights and offer approximately 102,000 seats across its route network, with a primary focus on the domestic market. Wingo projects that in 2025, it will strengthen its presence in the Colombian domestic market with a 10% increase in capacity, which translates to the addition of 2,680 flights to its current domestic routes.
The company estimates it will transport around 100,000 passengers, which would represent an average load factor of 97%. On high-demand routes, occupancy could reach up to 99%.
Of the total available capacity, 60% will be concentrated on domestic routes, mainly those connecting Bogotá–Medellín, Bogotá–Cali, Bogotá–Barranquilla, and Bogotá–Cartagena. There is also reported growth in flights connecting Medellín with Santa Marta, Cartagena, and Barranquilla.
As for international destinations, there has been an increase in demand for the Caribbean and Venezuela. Routes such as Punta Cana, Santo Domingo, Havana, and Panama are among the most requested. High load factors are also being maintained on flights to Venezuela, both from Bogotá and Medellín.
