In a new update to the booking system, it has been observed that the LATAM group will increase its operations between Santiago (SCL), Chile, and various cities in Brazil during the winter season of 2025.
This expansion responds to the high demand from Brazilian tourists, who are seeking destinations in Chile such as ski centers and thermal resorts, including Valle Las Trancas, Olmué-La Campana, Valle del Aconcagua, and the Llanquihue lakes.
During 2024, the number of Brazilian visitors peaked in July, with 142,782 tourists registered that month. During this period, LATAM, SKY, and JetSMART operated up to 226 weekly flights between Chile and Brazil.
During the peak months of the 2025 winter season, which will run from June 22 to September 1, LATAM will increase its frequencies by 23.7%, resulting in 32 additional flights per week, rising from 135 to 167 weekly flights.
