In an update published by aviation platform Cirium, SKY Airline is set to increase its flights to Brazil by 38% for the upcoming winter season, including the return of two routes.
This expansion responds to strong demand from Brazilian tourists seeking Chilean destinations known for ski resorts and thermal spas, including Valle Las Trancas, Olmué-La Campana, Aconcagua Valley, and Lake Llanquihue.
In 2024, the number of Brazilian visitors peaked in July, with 142,782 tourists recorded. During that period, LATAM, SKY, and JetSMART operated up to 226 weekly flights between Chile and Brazil.
For the peak months of the 2025 winter season—from June 22 to September 13—SKY Airline will increase its frequencies by 38.9% compared to last year, adding 17 more weekly flights and raising its total from 45 to 62.
