RoyalJet, a global private jet operator based in Abu Dhabi, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Airbus Corporate Jets for the purchase of three new ACJ320neo aircraft, including purchase rights for six additional units. The agreement was signed during the tenth edition of the MEBAA Show 2024, held at Dubai World Central (DWC), home to the Dubai Airshow.
Shafiul Syed, CEO of RoyalJet, highlighted the growing demand in the private aviation market and stated that the acquisition is part of the company’s commitment to enhancing its service level. “The business aviation market and the demand for private jets are growing,” he said. “We are constantly looking at how we can further elevate our service level and add a new dimension to our market offering.”
Chadi Saade, President of Airbus Corporate Jets, remarked that this agreement positions RoyalJet as the newest customer in Airbus&#8217; corporate aircraft family. “With this first significant agreement for the ACJ320neo, RoyalJet will be the newest customer of the Airbus Corporate Jets family,” he stated. “We are delighted with RoyalJet’s decision to select the ACJ for the next stage of their growth.”
According to Airbus, the ACJ320neo offers the largest cabin in its class, advanced technologies, and reduced fuel consumption, positioning it as an ideal choice for connecting business leaders globally. It has a range of up to 6,750 nautical miles, enabling intercontinental flights between city pairs such as Los Angeles &#8211; Santiago de Chile, London &#8211; Buenos Aires, or London &#8211; Lima.
RoyalJet and Airbus indicated that the agreement will introduce a renewed travel experience to the private aviation market, focusing on comfort and sustainability. The development of the agreement is expected to continue in the coming months.

The Global 7500 flies at a maximum speed of Mach 0.925, with a range of 7,700 nautical miles (14,260 kilometers), capable of directly connecting the world&#8217;s major business hubs. Its design features the Smooth Flex wing, designed with a complex system of flaps and slats that generates exceptional lift during takeoff and landing, maximizing aerodynamic efficiency and improving performance.

Its cutting-edge design allows for reduced fuel consumption and emissions, while delivering excellent performance on short runways and at high speeds. Since its entry into service in December 2018, the Global 7500 business jet has established itself as the most efficient business aircraft, with a fleet boasting a technical dispatch reliability rate of over 99.8%.
The Global 7500 holds more speed records in its segment than any other aircraft, recently completing over 75 record-breaking missions on various key routes. The latest was yesterday, December 10, en route to MEBAA2024, flying from Hartford to Dubai in under 12 hours.
The specifications of the Global 7500 will be enhanced following the launch of the Global 8000 aircraft, which will offer a range of 8,000 nautical miles and a maximum speed of Mach 0.94. Its entry into service is scheduled for the second half of 2025.

This article addresses these disciplines within the context of general aviation, specifically in operations regulated by RAAC 135. The performance of pilots and crew members in non-scheduled air transport companies is a critical component for ensuring the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of operations, both in executive and medical flights, where the latter presents higher risks and operational demands.
The regulation of the Safety Management System (SMS) in RAAC 135 follows international standards established by ICAO in Annex 19, which details the requirements for implementing and monitoring an SMS in aviation. At the national level, ANAC (National Civil Aviation Administration) oversees its compliance, supported by the DNSO (National Department of Operational Safety) and POI (Principal Operations Inspectors), who audit the operations of non-scheduled airlines.
Internally, each company&#8217;s operational safety manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the SMS, ensuring the identification and management of operational risks, promoting a safety culture, and guaranteeing compliance with local and international regulations.
The implementation of CRM within this complex socio-technical system is essential to minimize risks and ensure mission success. A key question arises: why do we talk about minimizing and not eliminating risks? The answer lies in the nature of the system: the human component is vital and, as such, introduces an inevitable margin of uncertainty. Additionally, risk is intrinsically part of the operational structure; no system can achieve 100% safety due to unforeseen variables and the impossibility of eliminating all risk factors.
For instance, in medical flights, even with the best safety protocols (checklists, notification, and reporting systems), a patient&#8217;s health can deteriorate unexpectedly, representing an unanticipated risk that cannot be completely eliminated.
Operational Safety Management
Operational safety management (SMS) is a systemic approach to identifying, assessing, and managing risks associated with aerial operations. In companies under RAAC 135, such as those conducting executive and medical flights, effective SMS implementation is crucial for protecting both passengers&#8217; lives and flight safety. Each company has an Operational Safety Management (OSM) Department responsible for supervising these functions.

San Fernando Airport Takes Off with Aerowise and Shell Aviation Collaboration

The executive jet <a href="https://www.bombardier.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bombardier</a> Global 7500 achieved over 75 new world speed records, as its fleet, consisting of nearly 200 aircraft, spans the globe. On November 21, 2024, Bombardier announced that the Global 7500 had set several new records on routes including flights from Miami to São Paulo, Tokyo to Los Angeles, Tokyo to San Jose, and Jeddah to London.
Among the speed records highlighted by Bombardier, three stand out: a flight between Los Angeles and Auckland completed in 11 hours and 55 minutes; a Tokyo-Hong Kong flight completed in three hours and 40 minutes; and a New Delhi to Tokyo journey in just seven hours.
«These new speed records continue to demonstrate that the Global 7500 is the undisputed leader in its category and the most capable executive jet, transporting our customers quickly and efficiently to distant destinations,» said Jean-Christophe Gallagher, Bombardier’s Executive Vice President of Aircraft Sales and Defense, in statements shared by our associate media outlet, <a href="https://aeroin.net/incluindo-rota-de-miami-a-sao-paulo-jatinho-global-7500-quebra-75-recordes-de-velocidade/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">AEROIN</a>.

The Bombardier Global 7500 was first introduced in December 2018 and, to date, its fleet has accumulated more than 200,000 flight hours. This executive jet has a top speed of Mach 0.925 and a baseline range of 7,700 nautical miles (14,260 km).
Currently, construction of the Bombardier Global 8000 is underway at the company’s facilities in Canada, the United States, and Mexico. The program is progressing as planned, with entry into service expected in 2025. The Global 8000 will offer a range of 8,000 nautical miles and a top speed of Mach 0.94, positioning itself as the fastest executive jet in the world.

75 Speed Records and Counting: The Global 7500 Redefines Long-Range Aviation

Bombardier has started the production of major structural components for the Global 8000, set to be the world’s fastest and longest-range business jet. Manufacturing is taking place at the company’s facilities in Saint-Laurent (Québec), Red Oak (Texas), and Querétaro (Mexico), with the aircraft expected to enter service in the second half of 2025.

Regarding avionics, the Global 8000 is equipped with the advanced Bombardier Vision flight deck, which features four large avionics screens for clear and efficient display. The private jets of football’s biggest current stars: Who owns what?

Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club (ADAC) has ordered a Bombardier Challenger 650 for <a href="https://www.aero-dienst.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Aero-Dienst</a>. The aircraft will be configured as a dedicated air ambulance and is scheduled for delivery in 2026.
The new Challenger 650 will join Aero-Dienst&#8216;s fleet, which currently includes two Dornier Do-328s and two Learjet 60XRs. General Electric CF34-3B engines will power the aircraft.
Steve Patrick, Vice President of Bombardier Defense, stated: «Our Challenger aircraft are distinguished by their class-leading reliability, flexibility, and versatility—essential features for rapidly responding to emergencies and providing life-saving medical assistance.»
«Bombardier has a long history of supplying medical evacuation aircraft, and we are honored that our Challenger 650 can contribute to the important work ADAC is doing to provide aid to their customers,» Patrick added.
The Challenger 650 has a range of 7,408 kilometers and features a wider passenger door compared to other aircraft in its segment. Additionally, it will have space to accommodate up to four stretchers.

ADAC to incorporate a new Bombardier Challenger 650

On June 3,  the 59th anniversary of the entry into service of Dassault Aviation&#8217;s first executive jet, the Falcon 20 was celebrated. The development of this aircraft, initially known as the Dassault-Breguet Mystère 20, began in December 1961.
The Falcon 20 was created in response to the French government&#8217;s request to manufacture a twin-engine jet capable of liaison and training missions. One of the companies that took an interest in the project and began working on it was Dassault Aviation, led by Marcel Dassault.
Thus, in December 1961, Marcel approved the start of the project to produce an aircraft with a capacity of 8 to 10 passengers, initially called the Dassault-Breguet Mystère 20.
<h2>Design and Development</h2>
The design consisted of a low-wing monoplane based on the aerodynamics of the Dassault Mystère IV fighter-bomber. The aircraft would be powered by two Pratt &amp; Whitney JT12A-8 jet engines, mounted at the rear of the fuselage and providing 3,300 pounds of thrust.
The aircraft prototype, with French registration F-WLKB, first flew on May 4, 1963, from Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport. The program aimed to capture the aircraft&#8217;s commercial opportunities, strongly emphasizing the U.S. market.
<h2>Agreement with Pan Am and Introduction to the U.S.</h2>
The company had no experience in marketing civil aircraft, so the plane received virtually no orders. Dassault Aviation then sought a distributor to offer its model in the United States.
At that time, Pan Am was looking for an aircraft to launch its executive jet sales division. After evaluating various planes from different manufacturers, Pan Am became interested in the Mystère 20.
Pan Am suggested that Dassault Aviation replace the Mystère 20s engines with General Electric CF700 engines and increase some of the aircraft&#8217;s dimensions. Dassault agreed to make these changes, and Pan Am placed the first firm order for 40 units, with options for an additional 120.
The Dassault Mystère 20, equipped with the new engines, had its first flight on July 10, 1964. The first production aircraft flew on January 1, 1965, and in June of that year, it received type certifications from the governments of the United States and France.
Upon starting deliveries, planes registered in the United States were dispatched to customers at Hollywood Burbank Airport, California. The remaining aircraft were delivered at Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport.
In 1966, Dassault Aviation decided to rename the aircraft delivered in the U.S. as Fan Jet Falcon, a name later shortened to Falcon 20.
The aircraft quickly became a success, and Pan Am converted the 120 options from the initial order into firm orders and added 40 more aircraft, reaching a total order of 160 Falcon 20 units. The first military orders were also received from Australia, the United States, Canada, and France.
Later, Falcon 20s equipped with CF700 engines were re-engined with Garrett TFE731 turbofans.
<h2>Variants</h2>
In the 1980s, an improved model of the Falcon 20, named the Falcon 200, was launched. This aircraft featured more advanced and efficient Garret ATF3 engines and increased range and capacity.
The Falcon 20 family also included a smaller variant, the Falcon 10. There was also a larger version with a capacity for 30 passengers, called the Falcon 30, which was built and flight-tested but never entered production.
Another variant is the Falcon 50, which had the same fuselage and capacity as the Falcon 20 but was powered by three jet engines located at the rear of the fuselage. The trijet variant had greater autonomy and was of French production.
The aircraft was so successful that production only ceased in 1991. The main operators of the Falcon 20 or HU-25 Guardian, the designation for military use, included Federal Express (through its feeder companies), the United States Coast Guard, and the French Navy.

Falcon 20: 59 years since Dassault Aviation’s first business jet entered into service

<a href="http://aviacionline.com/2024/04/rolls-royce-inicia-las-pruebas-en-un-boeing-747-del-nuevo-motor-del-dassault-falcon-10x/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dassault Falcon Jet</a> abrió un nuevo centro de mantenimiento, reparación y revisión en Brasil. Las nuevas instalaciones del fabricante francés se encuentran emplazadas en el Aeropuerto Internacional Ejecutivo de Catarina (JHF), situado a poco más de 70 kilómetros de la ciudad de San Pablo.
El nuevo centro de servicios al cliente, Dassault Falcon Jet Sao Paulo-Catarina,  reemplazará al existente en Sorocaba, inaugurado en 2009. Las nuevas instalaciones cuentan con un total de 3.600 m² de espacio en el cual puede albergar hasta cinco aeronaves.
Jean Kayanakis, vicepresidente senior de servicio al cliente mundial, dijo: «Para nuestra compañía, la asistencia posventa es una parte vital de la experiencia de propiedad. Esto significa mantener a Dassault lo más cerca posible de sus clientes y ofrecerles todos los servicios necesarios para maximizar el tiempo de actividad y el valor de su flota Falcon».
<h2>MRO a aeronaves</h2>
El centro de Caterina tiene capacidad para atender al avión más grande del fabricante francés, el Falcon 10X. Este es el último integrante de la familia de reactores ejecutivos de Dassault, que actualmente se encuentra en desarrollo, cuyo fuselaje es de los más anchos del mercado.
Las instalaciones cuentan con capacidad para realizar operaciones de mantenimiento y revisión hasta el nivel «B» para los Falcon registrados en Brasil de las familias Falcon 7X/8X y Falcon 2000. También está equipada para realizar evaluaciones previas a la compra (PPE) para clientes que estén considerando adquirir un Falcon de segunda mano.
El centro de mantenimiento Caterina cuenta con la certificación de Estación de Reparación otorgada por la Agencia Nacional de Aviación Civil (ANAC) de Brasil, la Administración Federal de Aviación (FAA) y la Agencia Europea de Seguridad Aérea (EASA).
Además, cuenta con la autorización de reguladores como Argentina, Bermudas y Uruguay. Está autorizada a realizar el mantenimiento de línea y las inspecciones principales de los modelos Falcon de las series 50, 900 y 2000, el Falcon 7X y el Falcon 8X.
<h2>Servicios adicionales del nuevo centro</h2>
El nuevo centro de Dassault en San Pablo puede llevar a cabo el mantenimiento de línea de motores CFE-738, Honeywell TFE731 y Pratt &amp; Whitney Canada PW307A, PW307D y PW308C.
También cuenta con la capacidad para realizar procedimientos especializados de ensayos no destructivos (END), como pruebas con líquidos penetrantes y corrientes parásitas. Un taller de baterías de servicio completo que puede reparar, sustituir o recargar baterías principales y de emergencia de Falcon y otros modelos de avión.
Al igual que en Sorocaba, Catalina contará con un «equipo de asistencia» formado para proporcionar una respuesta móvil rápida en cualquier lugar de Sudamérica, junto con las piezas y herramientas necesarias para que un Falcon pueda volar con un retraso mínimo.
<h2>Mayor asistencia a nivel global</h2>
En los últimos cinco años, Dassault ha duplicado su capacidad de asistencia global y ha modernizado considerablemente sus servicios de MRO.
El fabricante francés cuenta con más de 60 puntos de servicio y 15 centros de distribución de piezas en todo el mundo, así como los GoTeams necesarios para prestar asistencia a las aeronaves de los clientes 24 horas los 365 días del año.

This spacious interior, spanning over 340 square meters in total, blends traditional influences from the cultural heritage of the Middle East with a modern touch. The presentation of this new cabin is scheduled for the upcoming Dubai Airshow, to be held from November 13 to 17.
The cabin, named «CelestialSTAR«, aims to emphasize both contemporary purity and typical Middle Eastern patterns. It will be the widest VIP cabin of all aircraft. The standout feature of the new design is a private bathroom suite that, along with the adjacent workspace and balance area, forms a multifunctional Private Suite. In this space, the bathroom and rooms can merge to provide maximum privacy. Sophisticated projection technology transforms this space into an immersive world of well-being and entertainment. Passengers will have access to a wide variety of digital content, ranging from a cinema screen to 180° views of their destination.

Adjacent to the private suite is the Celestial Lounge, through which passengers board the aircraft. This space features an integrated stylish bar. This serves as a majlis, a traditional Middle Eastern meeting room. State-of-the-art communication technology, such as monitors that can retract completely into the table, connects this room with the world.

With their three-dimensional structure and directed use of indirect lighting, they continue the functional design principle of the side walls, providing a generous spatial impression at all times, even when closed and without natural light.
Lufthansa Technik&#8217;s cabin primarily targets Middle Eastern royal families, who often travel with large delegations. For this reason, the second half of the cabin offers ample accommodations. Guests can enjoy six luxury suites and custom-designed modern first-class compartments for the cabin. Additionally, there are 32 seats available for other passengers, offering a business class experience. The rear section of the cabin is designed as a premium economy cabin for the entourage.

The test program was supported by Honeywell Aerospace, Parker, Pratt &amp; Whitney Canada, and Safran. This milestone reinforces Embraer&#8217;s commitment to sustainability. SAF is a renewable energy source that can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 80% compared to traditional jet fuel.

Currently, all Embraer jets are certified to operate using up to 50% SAF blended with conventional fuel. With this test program, the Brazilian manufacturer will obtain crucial data that will enable aircraft to be certified for 100% SAF use. During the test flights, each aircraft flew with one SAF-fueled engine.
The flights of the Phenom 300 and Praetor 600 with 100% clean SAF are significant milestones in these efforts, and Embraer will continue to work toward a more sustainable future for the aviation industry through additional efforts such as research and development of low- and zero-emission alternative propulsion systems, such as electrification, hybrid electric, and hydrogen.

Embraer Successfully Completes Tests with 100% SAF on Phenom 300E and Praetor 600 Models

The milestone aircraft for the French manufacturer is a TMB 960 delivered to a private U.S. customer.
The TMB 900 model has far surpassed previous versions in deliveries. The TMB 700 version has reached 324 aircraft delivered, while the TMB 850 model reached 338 aircraft. The TMB 850 was the first product launched under Daher&#8217;s leadership for the TMB family.
Nicolas Chabbert, senior vice president of Daher&#8217;s aeronautics division, said, «The latest achievement of the TBM program underscores the success of Daher&#8217;s policy of constant improvement to maintain the competitiveness of our aircraft portfolio, with an emphasis on listening to the customer and a commitment to improving operational efficiency and sustainability.»
«With more than 100 TBM 960s ordered &#8211; more than two years into production &#8211; Daher sees sustained interest in the aircraft from professional operators and private owners, especially with the introduction of enhanced safety features, along with improved efficiency and enhanced cabin comfort,» he added.
<h2>Evolution of the TMB 900</h2>
The TMB 900 was introduced in 2014 by Daher, incorporating aerodynamic improvements such as new engine cowlings, the addition of fins, and the integration of the Hartzell five-blade scimitar propeller.
In 2016, the TBM 900 series family was expanded with the higher-end TBM 930 version, equipped with Garmin&#8217;s integrated touchscreen-controlled G3000 flight deck. This variant incorporated the initial elements of the TBM&#8217;s e-copilot functionality, which reduces pilot workload and provides better situational awareness.
Daher took a further step in modernizing the TBM 900 series in 2018 with its TBM 910, which incorporates Garmin&#8217;s G1000 NXi avionics. In 2019, the TBM 930 was succeeded by Daher&#8217;s TBM 940 with automatic throttle. In 2020, it became one of the first aircraft equipped with the revolutionary HomeSafe automatic emergency landing system.
<h2>The high-end version</h2>
Introduced by the company in 2022, the TMB 960 is a high-end aircraft and integrates the new PT6E-66XT turboprop engine, purpose-built by Pratt &amp; Whitney Canada for this aircraft, as well as the Hartzell Propeller five-blade composite propeller with the Raptor lightweight hub. Both the engine and propeller systems are connected to the TBM 960&#8217;s digital dual-channel electronic engine and propeller control system (EPECS).
EPECS optimizes powerplant performance from engine start to landing, while reducing pilot workload by integrating all functions and protecting engine life. It also allows flying with more precise settings: at Daher&#8217;s recommended cruise setting of 308 kts, fuel consumption is only 57 U.S. gallons per hour, a 10% fuel savings for greater sustainability compared to the maximum cruise setting.
Daher&#8217;s use of digital power on the TBM 960 extends to the aircraft&#8217;s Prestige cabin, which features an all-new environmental control system. Other enhancements include integrated ambient lighting LED strips on both sides of the ceiling panel and electronically adjustable windows, all controlled by a passenger comfort display (PCD).
Daher increased cabin style and comfort with ergonomically enhanced seats, USB-A and USB-C power outlets, along with individual cup holders and headphone hangers for each occupant.

NBAA-BACE: Daher reaches 500 deliveries of its TMB 900 aircraft family

One of these FFS will be located at CAE London Burgess Hill in the United Kingdom, and the other at CAE Las Vegas, in the United States.

The increase in demand for certified professionals for the Phenom model has created this expansion opportunity with the acquisition of these new simulators.

BBJ Select: a new option to customize the Boeing 737 MAX -7 BBJ cabin

iAero Airways, an American part 121 charter airline, announced that it has filed voluntary petitions for reorganization under Chapter 11. The company is the largest passenger and corporate cargo carrier in the United States.
The filing was made in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida, Miami Division. In connection with this, the company has secured approximately $22.5 million in financing. Chapter 11 will allow iAero to continue its operations, and the airline has announced that plans to maintain its operations throughout the process. Scheduled flights will be unaffected.
«Our customers remain our top priority, and they can continue to rely on us for their travel needs,» said Timothy Rainey, President of iAero Airways. «Our board of directors has determined that it is necessary to take this step to strengthen our financial position and restructure certain contractual relationships. We believe that this filing is the most effective way to reorganize with minimal impact on the business and our customers.»

He continued, stating that «we are also committed to advancing this process as expeditiously as possible so that the company can emerge from it well-positioned to maximize our long-term prospects for the benefit of our customers, employees, and all other stakeholders.»
Rainey added that the company under his leadership is optimistic about its long-term future. He also indicated that once its operation stabilizes &#8211; still affected by the lingering effects of the pandemic, which exerted unprecedented pressures on the industry &#8211; its liabilities will be significantly reduced.
The airline will file motions to ensure operations remain as regular as possible. It will also continue to pay salaries, medical coverage, vacations, and other benefits. Furthermore, the company is confident in its ability to meet its obligations to critical suppliers and to provide safe and reliable flight service to its customers.
