Air France schedules Boeing 777 on Buenos Aires route and drops Airbus A350 plans

In recent days Air France had confirmed that as of October 30 it would fly to Ezeiza Airport (EZE) with the Airbus A350-900, replacing the Boeing 787-9 it currently uses on the route.

However, a modification observed in the reservation systems would indicate a change of plans and the return to an old acquaintance of the connection: the combination of the Boeing 777-200ER and -300ER.

According to the updated schedule, the flight details indicate that flight AF228 covering the route between Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and Ezeiza will depart from the French capital at 10:20 am and land in Buenos Aires at 8:15 pm.

The return flight, numbered AF229, will depart Ezeiza at 22:35 and land in Paris at 15:45. All times mentioned correspond to local time.

The combination of Boeing 777 variants is scheduled until December 4, and it remains to be seen then whether the carrier will finally schedule the A350, allowing it to debut on the route.
