The route will have a frequency of five weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, along with one flight every two Tuesdays. Departing from Vienna at 14:40 (local time), the flight is expected to reach Boston by 13:50. The return flight will take off at 17:10, landing in Vienna at 19:25.

Michael Trestl, Commercial Director of Austrian Airlines, expressed: “We are delighted to announce Boston as a new and attractive destination. This expansion enhances our long-haul flight offerings and strengthens Vienna’s operational hub.”

“The globally renowned universities in Boston, such as Harvard and MIT, along with business connections and the city’s unparalleled charm, make it a fascinating and enticing travel destination. Moreover, in the future, it will be even easier for visitors and tourists from New England to come to Vienna”, he added.

With the addition of Boston to its network, Austrian now reaches a total of 19 intercontinental destinations. “Expanding our long-haul network solidifies our position as the clear number 1 in Vienna and contributes to better connecting Austria as a hub for business and tourism,” concluded the executive.
