Europe’s largest airline group, Ryanair continues its hiring of pilots. Back to roadshows out of its home continent for the first time after the COVID-19 pandemic, the company will visit Latin America in May, with events in Argentina and Brazil.
According to the airline, the openings will be for type-rated and non type-rated Captains, as well as type-rated First Officers with ICAO licenses issued in Argentina and Brazil. The airline says it can support the candidates who may require visas for positions in Ireland and in the United Kingdom.
Positions elsewhere, however, are also available; Ryanair currently has 75 operating bases in 21 other countries.
In Brazil, this is the first time since 2019 that the airline group has visited the country searching for pilots; Argentina, meanwhile, saw the last roadshow by Ryanair in 2018.
To Aviacionline, Ryanair Group’s Director of Talent Mark Duffy confirmed that «Ryanair will be visiting Brazil and Argentina in May to showcase flight deck opportunities for positions in Europe», adding that «as Ryanair grow towards 225 [million] passengers by FY26, to support this growth, we have opportunities available for B737 Rated Captains and First Officers and Non-Type Rated Captains.»

Ryanair Group announced today its traffic results for the month of March 2023. It carried 12.6 million passengers, having carried 168.6 million, its most ever, in the year ended in March — the final month of its financial year. For the financial year ended in March 2024, it intends to carry 185 million.
Its growth is largely driven by its order for 210 Boeing 737 MAX 8200, of which it has received 98. The group is also negotiating an order for more 737 MAX with Boeing, to be fulfilled after 2025, when the final aircraft of the current order are to be delivered.
