#TBT: Aeroflot flights between Russia and Argentina in 1987

In the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s, Aeroflot operated regular flights between Russia and different South American countries. Some of these were Argentina, Chile, Perú and Uruguay, mainly with workers from the fishing sector.

Over the years, these services had several stopovers. In some cases they stopped in Europe and Africa, while in others in the United States, Canada and the Caribbean.

In 1987, Aeroflot made flights to Argentina with its Russian Ilyushin Il-62 aircraft configured in two classes, First and Economy. Senegal and Hungary were its stops.
