Ryanair has announced two new routes from Madrid and Malaga to Nador (Morocco), as part of its summer 2022 schedule in Spain. In addition to these two new connections, which will operate with two weekly flights, the airline has increased frequencies on other existing routes between the two countries.

“These two new routes from Madrid and Malaga to Nador will give tourists more options for planning a trip to Morocco. Similarly, we look forward to welcoming an increase in Moroccan visitors to Spain,” said Elena Cabrera, Ryanair’s Country Manager for Spain.

The two new routes feature a strong Air Arabia Maroc presence on Airbus A320 aircraft, with a weekly flight to Madrid and six times a week to Malaga.

In addition, the link between Malaga and Nador has the presence of Iberia on a flight operated by Air Nostrum and Royal Air Maroc, with two weekly flights on ATR 72-600.

According to data obtained by Aviacionline through Cirium, despite the competition, Ryanair is the main company in both countries with more than 800 monthly flights and an offer of 160,000 seats.

For the summer season, the low-cost carrier dominates the market with 45% of the seat offer, while Moroccan Royal Air Maroc and Air Arabia Maroc have 21% and 18% of the share respectively.
