Jet2.com opens a base at Bournemouth airport and adds eight routes Spain

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays are launching flights from Bournemouth Airport, which will become their twelfth base in the United Kingdom. The UK’s largest tour operator and third largest airline will begin selling 16 destinations across Europe, the Canary Islands and the Mediterranean from Bournemouth Airport for the 2025 summer season.

Passengers from areas in the south of England, such as Bournemouth, Southampton, Portsmouth and the wider region, will have a wide range of leisure destinations. In the first year of operations to Bernemouth, Jet2.com will have a schedule of up to 27 weekly flights, including services to the Canary Islands, the Balearic Islands, mainland Spain, Turkey, Greece and Portugal.

The leisure airline will have services to Alicante, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Tenerife-South, Antalya, Corfu, Dalaman, Faro, Heraklion, Ibiza, Menorca, Palma de Mallorca, Rhodes, Zakynthos, Fuerteventura and Funchal, the latter two destinations being exclusive to Jet2.com from Bournemouth Airport.

Operations will commence on April 1, 2025, with an inaugural service to Tenerife, Bournemouth is the leisure airline’s latest expansion into the U.K. after opening base at Liverpool John Lenon Airport.
