Colombia ceases to require negative COVID-19 PCR test for incoming travelers

«The national government established new conditions to enter the country by eliminating the requirement of having a negative PCR test taken up to 96 hours before the flight for those travelers who need to arrive in Colombia,» indicates the video, which clarifies that the obligation to declare the trip in the Check-Mig application remains.

The requirements that travelers must meet are:

  1. Not having fever or respiratory symptoms associated with COVID-19
  2. Wear a mask throughout the flight
  3. Report to the authorities if they present symptoms compatible with COVID-19 within fourteen days after the flight.

With this change, Colombia is changing its strategy reinforcing track and trace rather than creating a barrier to prevent the arrival of potential cases.
