After leaving them on the ground to make mandatory changes required by the Federal Aviation Administration of the United States, GOL Linhas Aéreas reincorporated its eight Boeing 737 MAX 8s to commercial service.
The work was followed by the airline’s engineering team under Boeing’s technical leadership from the beginning, with each modification being monitored in person by quality inspectors and auditors from GOL’s Operational Safety Department.
As our partner media in Brazil explained, Aeroin.net, only the 737 MAX 8 fleet was affected by a potential electrical problem announced by Boeing on April 9. After the modifications, the GOL maintenance area and the pilots carried out operational checks prove the full functionality of the aircraft.
